The Building Manager will be based within a large building of Grade A office accommodation housing multiple tenants, they will be required to provide a strong front of house presence for security and general concierge functions and will line manage a small team of staff based at the site.
The Building Manager will be responsible for maintaining a safe environment and oversee cleaning, security, fire and other safety systems along with undertaking some statutory compliance activity and inspections of the site and grounds, they will manage contractors on site to ensure minimal impact on the activities of building occupants and be responsible for the resolution of complaints, problems and requests from building tenants.
The Building Manger may be required to liaise between tenants, attend/chair meetings and will have a responsibility for creating, updating and maintaining site documentation.
A background within Facilities Management would be advantageous.
