In 2011 Solo Service Group launched ‘Solo Academy’ which primary purpose is to develop training and development strategy, and training delivery and coordination for the whole business.
Training undertaken by staff includes in-house training programs and also external industry and profession specific training.
Solo Service Group believes that access to training and development within the business for all staff assist the organisation in its delivery of service, by increasing staff performance and aiding retention.
Training and Development opportunities :
- Cleaning operatives have the opportunity to undertake accredited cleaning qualification such as BICSc, IOSH & NVQ’s at all levels.
- If the Cleaning operative expresses and interest in developing to Supervisor, additional training can be provided.
- If a Cleaning Supervisor expresses an interest in developing to Contract Manager, additional training can be provided.
Employees engaged at Solo’s offices throughout the country also have the opportunity to train and develop within their current function or other functions within the organisation.
