At Solo Service Group we understand the importance of keeping our environment protected which is why we are committed to achieving our environmental targets and have invested in a dedicated Environmental Manager and Environmental Champions.

Environmental Champions are focused on researching environmental innovation within the cleaning industry that will assist us in reducing the degree of environmental impact, particularly researching new strategies for waste minimisation such as:

• Reduction in waste to landfill through increasing recycling initiatives at offices and onsite. i.e. paper, cans, printer cartridges, plastics, food waste
• Recycled and biodegradable packaging for cleaning materials
• Collaboration and partnership with customers to encourage and implement recycling schemes at sites we clean
• Training of cleaning staff to ‘buy in’ and actively participate in client recycling schemes

Solo Service Group also looks to use a range of alternate products that are environmentally friendly.

Solo are committed to this service because we understand the environment needs to be protected for the future this is why we also have in place a waste minimisation programme across all our services. With an objective of protecting the environment we are constantly seeking new avenues to achieve this objective and work rigorously to comply with our BS EN ISO 14001 Environmental Management System and OHSAS 18001 Health and Safety Management System.
